nutty, sweet, toasted muesli


1 cup GF Oats
2 cups nuts (macadamia, almond, cashew, walnuts)
1 cup shredded coconut
½ cup nut meal (any you have/like)
2 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
1 cup seeds (pumpkin, sunflower)
¼ cup cacao
½ cup diced dried fruit (apple, peach, apricot, cranberry, sultanas)
½ cup coconut oil
Optional: puffed brown rice, rapadura sugar

Method :

You can add any other nuts or fruits that you may have

  • Turn oven to 180c

  • You will need 2 large baking trays
  • Place nuts in a blender and chop slightly to break up. (Or do by hand). Don’t blend to a meal
  • Combine all ingredients other than coconut oil and fruit in a large bowl, mix well

  • Add ½ cup melted coconut oil and mix well
  • Bake in oven 10-15 minutes, remove, and mix and bake another 5-10 mins. (Check regularly so it does not burn)
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool
  • Add fruit and mix well
  • Place in a sealed jar
  • Serve with your choice or yogurt or milk

A great alternative to the sugar, preservative and flavour added cereals
