avocado choc mousse


1 medium-sized ripe avocado

1/4 cup raw cacao powder

3 organic pitted dates, roughly chopped

1/8 cup coconut milk, nut milk or filtered water

1/2 tsp vanilla extract/powder

A pinch of sea salt

Method :

  • In a blender, add the avocado flesh, dates, liquid, vanilla, salt, cacao.

  • Blend until smooth. You may need to add a little more liquid to help blend and scrape down the sides of the bowl a few times.

  • Adjust ingredients to taste, adding more cacao powder if needed.

  • Garnish with your choice of toppings and serve.

Topping suggestions: Cacao nibs, strawberries, raspberries, mint
